The major label model continues to show cracks of weakness for all but the most milktoast of acts. More recently, there is news of one of my underground favorites going indie. Solange Knowles is moving forward, but sans Interscope. I think she is most slept on, and lives in the shadow of the chosen one, but she'll return as viable as ever nonetheless.
