Currently enjoying Simone's rough drafts. In just under 6 months, we've completed about 7 tracks. I'm in that stage where 'everything' I hear is an absolute hit, but as Ms Lady cranks out more songs, the biggest records will actually begin to stand out. For now, I'm definitely digging the way the project is shaping up. Aided by production by Satellite Systems Control, Simone's music is Pop, RnB, Mor, but all soul. Not the emulated soulishness either - the real oxtail and calalou dish. There's a depth to the words that reveal genuine perspective and insight - you'd think Simone's been around for a minute. The music cuts across styles, genre's and demographics easily. I'm bragging now - ill stop. As we finish versions and mix the tracks down, we'll put some up here. Looking forward to sharing the love.
