Indies making music that matters.

I have the genuine ability to pick out what will be popular, regardless of my love or dislike of the music. There have been many a time when Ive said that the world is absolutely missing out on greatness because they do not play Tanya Morgan on the radio. Whatever, even when the music is outside of my vibe; and/or listening radius I can usually pick what will succeed, or what has legs.

I've been reading a bit about the song for a while and Ill admit that this song has been universally panned by the blogs that I read. For reasons I can understand too; for one, the sound is outside of the typical fare of the moment. For two, the video is absolutely atrocious. Its shiny but thats it. For three what is being celebrated in the song itself is not celebrated in the video at all. For four, there are no young money cats on it. Im not going to waste my time drilling down into the lyricals or track technicals; I have learned over the time that the audience consuming this song do not care about such trivialities.

Recut this video immediately with the most gully of blunt rolling, add Drake and/or Ricky Rosay and it'll take off. Having said that,  Im gonna go out on a limb and call it.

Dr. Dre's Kush WILL bang the clubs. A remix version will likely make it to the radio as well. Check back in 3 months.
